Meet our New Associate Rector – Rev. Bob Flick

Join us this Sunday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church as we celebrate the

arrival of our New Associate Rector, Rev. Bob Flick

We are so pleased to welcome the Rev. Bob Flick to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.

With a passion for preaching and liturgy, community outreach, and an ear ready to listen – Rev. Bob Flick is a perfect fit for the St. Stephens Church. Rev. Bob Flick has a variety of degrees and certifications including Ministry, Philosophy, Priest, Spiritual Director, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor.

He has most recently worked as Vicar for Lord of the Streets Episcopal Church where his ministry entailed:

  • Spiritual leadership and pastoral care of women and men who are homeless and of LOTS staff (where he ministered to the spiritual, emotional, physical and social needs of individuals living in Houston who are homeless, in crisis or in transition)
  • Outreach into the Houston downtown community
  • As a liaison with other churches, organizations and individuals who provide services to the homeless population of Houston.

Other positions held include: St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, (La Marque, Texas) as Rector, The Gulf Coast Center, Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation (Galveston and Brazoria Counties) as Program Director, Director of Mental Health Services, and Family Service Center of Galveston County (Galveston, Texas) as Director of the STAR Program.
